Rug hooking

East coast rug hooking made use of old wool clothing and burlap feed bags. These two left overs were turned into functional rugs and works of art.

I find yarns are available in an endless array of colour and are easy to find, so I use both yard and strips.

My latest creation is based on a scrollsaw pattern I saw offered in a magazine years ago. I love this little scene.
